Job summary

NBT Imaging Department is seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated radiographers to join their multi-disciplinary IR team.

Main duties of the job

Applicants must ideally have been working within Imaging for a year, plus experience within IR. Further consideration would be given to those wishing to train as a band 5 in this modality to achieve band 6.

An experience of cross-sectional imaging would be an advantage, together with excellent communication and computer skills.

You must hold the Diploma of the Society of Radiographers DCR(R) or BSc Radiography or equivalent and have a current Health Professions Council (HCPC) registration.

The Interventional Radiology department consists of six labs with a mixture of single / bi-plane and hybrid systems and 2 multipurpose fluoroscopy rooms.

The department is open 8:00am - 8:00pm Monday to Friday with on call at weekends . IR Radiographers will be required to participate in 24/7 on-call services for IR and stroke provision.

The department offers opportunity for extended roles for radiographers. Currently there are radiographers performing nephrostomy exchanges, spinal injections, EVAR follow up service, cystograms, bariums studies and Hysterosalpingograms.
