An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join the Community Nursing Service in Malton for a fixed term 1 year contract.
Our experienced Community Nursing Service works across Malton, Ampleforth and Rillington areas providing personalised, quality care to patients in their own homes including care homes.
This is a 7 day service.

Main duties of the job
Day to day the role includes visiting patients to provide the care required according to the care plan written by a registered nurse, participating in handovers and/or safety huddles, and documenting the care provided. Clinical skills developed and used within the role include:
- Vital observations
- Recognise and escalate issues of concern and/or safety including the deteriorating patient and issues of safeguarding
- Phlebotomy
- Injections
- Wound care
- Bladder (including catheters) & bowel care
- End of life care
- Moving & Handling of patients
- Equipment provision & instruction in use
