Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to work as an Integrated Specialist Public Health Nurse (ISPHN) - Health Visitor within the East Riding. The successful applicants base will be based discussed at interview you will be a caseload holder for the -9 months to 11 years age group leading the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme. However it should be noted cover can be required across the East Riding of Yorkshire with notice.

Main duties of the job
- To undertake the continuing responsibility for the management of the workload of the Integrated Specialist Public Health Nursing Team (-9 months -11years) and the integration of the team into a single integrated Service for all children for whom the service has responsibility.
- To be accountable for the effective delivery of care packages to children, young people and their families; and delivering the Healthy Child Programme
- Responsible for the management of a caseload or client group including compilation of reports and participation in multi-agency safeguarding children procedures
- Provide leadership within an integrated Public Health Nursing Team including providing day to day supervision (managerial, clinical and safeguarding) of team members and undertake delegated management tasks within the integrated Public Health Nursing Team
- To offer specialist advice in line with current evidence base.
- Be part of the duty team on a rota basis for the Single Point of Contact.
- Promote public health messages and oversee staffing of local events which promote the service and engage the families.
