An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Estates team structure for an enthusiastic, driven and focused individual to work alongside existing colleagues to offer support services to the Trust Maintenance Teams along side providing removal and cleaning services for other Trust colleagues and Departments
The successful candidate would need the skill set to identify and ensure all elements relating to their discipline comply with current guidance and to actively be able to offer methods and solutions that work coherently with the wider team.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the role will include:
- Relocation of Trust equipment, office and medical at various locations
- Cleaning PPM work
- Van Driving Duties
- Waste Removals
- Jet Washing
- Salt Spreading (Inclement Weather)
- Trust Event Support Services
- To carry out maintenance and minor repairs, some of which may be non-routine, but do not require the attention of a fully qualified craft person.
- Actively participates in the operation and control of planned maintenance schemes.
- Actively participate in the operation of the NHS labour control scheme by working within the scheme including completion of all paperwork required of the scheme (including job dockets and timesheets)
- To carry out agreed schedule of activities, and respond to emergency duties as required, across the various Trust sites.
- To undertake work in hazardous areas, taking all safety measures to prevent danger, avoid injury and prevent damage to self, others, and Trust equipment.
- May be required to work overtime to carry out emergency repairs as required by management.
