Whitby is a pretty traditional seaside town in North Yorkshire, situated on the East coast at the mouth of the River Esk.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the role include:
- Assists qualified staff by undertaking personal care duties for patients.
- Reports the patient condition to qualified staff.
- Undertake delegated work of the multidisciplinary team to assist in the provision of individualised planned patient care under indirect supervision. Care tasks may include managing the day-to-day needs of patients by providing help with personal care, meals and mobility.
- Work as part of a team which supports the operation of the ward 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and will therefore be required to work shifts including nights, days and weekends
