Job summary
Here at Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust caring for our patients is our top priority to which patient safety is central. We have an exciting new opportunity for a someone who is passionate about patient safety to join our Quality and Patient Safety team as a Band 3 Clinical Governance and Patient Safety Administrator.
The post holder will provide dedicated administrative support to the patient safety team in relation to patient safety incident reviews and investigations under the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework.
The post holder will be responsible for organising and acting as administrator to a variety of meetings within the portfolio of the quality and patient safety team. Applicants must be well organised and able to prioritise workloads to meet set deadlines.
The ability to maintain flexibility in response to change and a proactive approach to work is important; as is the ability to maintain positive attitude and respectful, professional manner. Applicants should possess good communication skills and be able work under supervision.
Main duties of the job
- To provide dedicated administrative support to the Patient Safety team in relation to patient safety incident reviews and investigations under the Patient Safety Incident Response framework.
- Support the Patient Safety Manager in ensuring systems and processes are followed and maintain accurate records and progress updates.
- Input data into computerised systems, produce routine information as required for reports, maintain and regularly update spreadsheets and trackers.
- Organise and attend (where required) virtual and face to face meetings, undertake administrative duties such as agenda setting, collation of meeting papers and take formal/informal meeting minutes/notes.
- Respond effectively and responsively to enquiries, manage mailboxes.
