Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Hull Integrated Care Team for a Band 5 Social Worker.

This vacancy is open to soon to be newly qualified social workers where a full AYSE programme is available. We are keen to support your development throughout your career and you will have access to a range of training courses.

You will be supported within your new role though a personalised induction period and you will continue to receive regular supervision, having access to peer support and reflective practice forums also, which supports both your development and well being.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking those who are working towards/already have a professional registration with Social Work England who have experience of working with people who have both organic and functional mental health difficulties with complex needs. Knowledge of up to date social work theory is also required.

You will be an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is keen to work with a diverse range of people and provide them with excellent care.

You will have demonstrable evidence of working with a wide range of service users, being able to identify their needs and co-create a care plan with them and their family.

We are seeking proactive and confident people who are able to adapt to changing situations and environments, and who work well within a team of other people.

You will be expected to be an active member of the multi-disciplinary team, contributing to the service overall and will work closely with a variety of other professional groups.

You will be aware of current drivers within the NHS, and relevant policy and legislation which are linked to the service.
