Job summary
Do you have an eye for detail and experience of reading through medical letters and medical coding and enjoy working in a fast paced environment, if so this could be the role for you. Candidates will need to be organised, able to solve problems and work to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent communication are essential for this role.
You will work as part of a small Data Quality team and be responsible for processing letters received from NHS Health Care providers for the three GP Practices. This will involve reading through medical information, adding documents to patients records, coding as appropriate and forwarding to Clinicians for further action if appropriate. You will work collaboratively with the practice team to meet the needs of patients, nurses and GPs.
Experience of general practice and SystmOne is desirable
Hours of work to be discussed and a degree of flexibility is needed as you may be required to work in all three GP Practices.
Main duties of the job
To provide administrative support to and contribute to the planning and development of the department as a member of the team.
You will be required to input data into administration systems, so excellent keyboard skills are required.
The role is demanding and involves working for prolonged periods of time on System 1. We require a person with exceptional organizational ability and able to work under pressure while providing a positive and responsive professionalism on behalf of the practices.
