If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join us in the stroke Service offered in Scarborough and Ryedale within rural North YorkshireWe are accepting applications from either an existing Band 7 Specialist Physiotherapist, or an experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist who can demonstrate meeting the vacancy criteria with a development induction/training package, based on applicants' individual needs. Training/personal and professional development is encouraged.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work within an existing staff group in the stroke service, alongside an integrated Multidisciplinary Team of Occupational Therapy, Intermediate care, District Nursing, and the wider specialist services. We aim to provide a responsive quality service to enable people to safely live in the community. Supported by a clinical Matron and stroke clinical team lead. The successful candidates' roles and responsibilities will include working with the matron and stroke clinical team lead on service improvement and audit. Including the delivery of the Early Supported Discharge Service. Completing specialist Physiotherapy assessment and developing comprehensive treatment plans, holding specialist caseload, as well as supervising and training to support development and delegation to junior staff.
