Job summary
The forensic inpatient service provision provides care on 4 medium and 1 low secure wards (these include Male Mental Illness, Male Learning Disabilities and Male Personality Disorder). The inpatient service works closely with the community forensic teams and is part of an overall community to community pathway. The service is part of the Humber Coast and Vale collaborative and works in partnerships with organisations to meet joint goals.
Main duties of the job
The service manager is responsible for the development and delivery of high standard clinical services by providing strong, effective leadership and management to specified services and teams.
To work in partnership with modern matrons, professional leads and senior nurses supporting clinical practice and infection control agendas.
To continue to demonstrate advanced management skills and provide support and advice to service users, carers, staff, managers and other agencies, appropriate to their lead area.
