Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic professional with high emotional intelligence and a proven ability to act as an expert in the field and provide solutions which transform and develop people experience and achievement of EDI objectives. You'll have desire to collaborate and build excellent relationships to ensure our people are best places to deliver quality care within our service areas.

Candidates must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and forward thinking with excellent influencing and communication skills.

Main duties of the job

Reporting to the Head of Medical Workforce, Strategy, Policy and Improvement, the post holder will support the implementation and delivery of the Trust's EDI objectives.

The successful candidate will act as an expert in the field providing professional advice to service managers and senior leaders across the organisation.

With a passion for positive change, the post holder will work closely with Strategic HR Business Partners to promote our networks, dig deep into the data, consult and shape pragmatic meaningful solutions. In addition, the post holder will provide national level reports, present findings and deliver training on matters related to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.

Applicants will be educated to degree/post graduate level in Human Resources or equivalent specialist area and have equivalent experience and knowledge in EDI and employment law. With an understanding of the EDI agenda and its priorities, the post holder will have a workable understanding of regulatory frameworks such as EDS2, WRES, WDES, Gender pay gap reporting.
