Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for: -
- To effectively contribute to multidisciplinary autism assessments; working with other professionals, to provide an holistic assessment for the child/young person and their family.
- To gather and analyse information from various sources throughout the assessment process
- To carry out face to face and digital assessment with children/young people
- To conduct language assessments when required to contribute to the child/young person's assessment
- To support children/young people through the assessment process and the eventual outcome of the assessment
- To provide personalised recommendations and intervention following the autism assessment process
- To write detailed reports following the assessment process
- To provide clinical supervision to SLT colleagues within the team

- Full understanding of relevant policy, legislation, drivers and their application to clinical and service area
- Full understanding/application of relevant clinical practice/standards/audit within identified clinical area
