Main duties of the job

In this role, you will provide High Intensity CBT interventions whilst undertaking a programme of training which commences in October 2022 in collaboration with Sheffield University; the post is full time 37.5 hours. This training post will equip you to provide a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) service to clients with a range of common mental health problems in primary care, for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective. You will attend taught and self-study days provided by Sheffield University two days a week. For the remainder of the week you will work within the Emotional Wellbeing Service fulfilling the Service based aspect of the training programme. On successful completion of the course you will be expected to work towards accreditation with the BABCP.

This role is fixed term for 12 months, with potential to being promoted to a qualified High Intensity Therapist position on a permanent contract (subject to successful completion of the course and service needs)
