We are looking for a registered nurse in learning disabilities to enhance our team.

This is a rare opportunity and offers the right person the chance to join a specialist nursing home for people with a profound and multiple learning disability and associated complex health care needs.

You will be working with a blended nursing team of both learning disability nurse and adult nurse to enhance a persons life whose health can be predictably unpredictable.

This would be an ideal opportunity for a learning disability newly qualified or an experienced learning disability nurse who wishing to develop clinical skills whilst embracing the homes ethos if a life well lived and loved.

You would be joining us at an exciting time as we are in the process of a new multi purpose building for our residents to enhance there lives.

Main duties of the job

Working within a multi dimensional framework we provide a home for people through out their life journey including at the end of there life.

The home is situated on the East Coast within its own ground in with views to the sea.

This is an attractive post for a RNLD with either experience of working in a specialist home or a recently qualified nurse who we would support through preceptorship.

The hours are 07:0 0to 19:30 and 19:00 to 07:30 and you will be expected to work days and nights, unsocial hours and bank holidays in a fair and equable rota.
