Job summary
Are you a qualified motivated Mental health professional with experience of leading a team of people and a keen interest in developing mental health services? We're looking for an enthusiastic, forward thinking professional who is passionate about mental health to join us at Beverley /Haltemprice and Goole Community Older Peoples Mental health team.
The role will involve leading the two teams of professionals with a caseload of clients with a range of mental health issues and co morbidities specific to aging, some of which are complex in nature. You will be providing day to day leadership support and guidance to the teams and be offering clinical and professional supervision and advice with risk management issues.
Your official base will be College House in Willerby but you can also base at Bartholomew House in Goole . You will also work remotely as part of our new ways of working. You will be part of two supportive teams that of staff from different disciplines and will have the opportunity to develop skills in specific therapeutic ways of working.
Main duties of the job
You will lead on Multidisciplinary team meetings each week to help decide on the most appropriate care pathways. You will also be expected to ensure the clinical performance of the team is reaching the necessary Trust targets. You will work closely with the Service manager and Team Manager.
Other duties include the day to day Clinical leadership of a team of mental health professionals
Risk management
Decision making regarding complex cases
Leading clinical meetings such as MDT
Helping formulate Care pathways
Ensuring the team is run professionally and safely
Ensuring leadership of and adherence to Trust clinical targets
Attending relevant leadership and clinical meetings
Working alongside the Team manager, Psychiatrist, Lead Psychologist and other professionals both inside and outside of the team
