Are you a Band 5 Nurse or newly qualified band 5 Nurse with Mental Health experience? We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward thinking nurse to join us at Goole Community Mental health team.

Main duties of the job

The role will include holding a caseload of clients with a range of mental health issues. You'll work as part of a multidisciplinary professional team formulating care and treatment plans for individuals and work closely with their carers and families.

Your team base will be at Bartholomew House in Goole and cover Goole and surrounding areas but you will also be working remotely from home as part of our new ways of working. You will be part of a supportive team of staff from different disciplines and will have the opportunity to gain skills in specific recognised therapeutic ways of working.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Nurse to join our team with a professional and caring attitude who is keen to develop further.

  • Registered Nurse with experience of working in a CMHT
  • An understanding of relevant clinical practice/standards within identified clinical area
  • Basic IT Willingness to undertake and complete preceptorship; facilitating the transition for newly qualified nurse booklet and core competency development programme
  • Appropriate knowledge/experience of working in mental health/learning disability clinical practice areas
  • Understanding of caseload management and care co-ordination responsibilities
  • Able to demonstrate effective inter-personal/communication skills
  • Evidence of good time management skills
