Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and proactive physiotherapist to work within the Children's Community Physiotherapy Team. The post holder would be required to provide physiotherapy interventions across Hull and East Riding in homes, schools and nurseries, in both rural and urban settings for those between 0-19 years old. The team undertake assessment and treatment for those with significant developmental delay, neurological and neuromuscular conditions alongside a host of other conditions.
To succeed in this role you will need to be passionate about working with children and helping them to achieve their potential and have excellent communication skills.
Main duties of the job
- The successful applicant would be expected to provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment for a wide variety of clinical conditions within community and clinical environments. They will work as part of an integrated children's therapy service and develop links with therapists at regional specialist centres.
- The post holder must be able to appropriately commute within the area to undertake their role.
- The post holder will offer a high standard of evidence based therapeutic care working within Children's Physiotherapy. They will be responsible for their own autonomous practice and ensure effective patient care is maintained.
- To maintain, as part of continual professional development, up to date clinical knowledge/skills within children's physiotherapy, using information to effect change in practice and ensuring the effective dissemination of new knowledge
