Main duties of the job
We are currently seeking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist who has experience working with children with neurodevelopmental conditions to join our Hull and East Riding Autism and ADHD assessment team.
The post holder will have the opportunity to work alongside other psychologists in the neurodiversity service, assessing young people who are referred to the service as well as consultations and training to other agencies where required. If you have relevant skills and experience with assessment in autism and ADHD, we would be delighted to hear from you.
This role is part of our neurodiversity service, consisting of Nurses with a broad range of specialities, Art Therapy, Psychology and Psychiatry. You will have the opportunity to work as part of an MDT and be part of the wider service and link in with other psychologists working across the child speciality.
We also have a strong focus on evidence based practice and are working towards the use of routine outcome measures. There is a commitment to ongoing staff training. We are also working towards having more participation from young people and their families in directing service development.
