Job summary
The Humber, Coast and Vale Health and Care Partnership Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Autism Collaborative Programme are seeking to appoint a General Practitioner to be a clinical lead.
The post holder will focus on 1. Assisting with developing clinical engagement across primary care, 2. Influencing mental health systems at place, within the developing primary care networks, 3. Co-developing and supporting the clinical strategic direction of the Collaborative Programme.
This is a fixed term post initially for 12 months on a part time basis (2 GP sessions per week).
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will work closely with GPs, mental health clinicians and professionals involved in service delivery, mental health commissioners, health and local authority providers and a range of partners across the Collaborative Programme.
The post holder should have significant clinical leadership experience, particularly in primary care, as well as strong networks and knowledge of the national mental health agenda. They will be expected to work closely with the programmes Mental Health Clinical Leads as well as other clinicians across the wider partnership. Further to this they will also be required to liaise and work with NHS England regional team and the Yorkshire and Humber Clinical Network as necessary.
