Job summary
Exciting opportunity to join our dynamic Cardiology department working with a large team of cardiac physiologists.
Opportunity to train for your SCST certificate and diploma in ECG analysis. Duties will include:
To perform a range of routine physiological measurement testing e.g.ECG recording and interpretation
- 24 hour Holter rhythm monitoring and analysis. Spacelabs
- 24 hour blood pressure monitoring and analysis. Spacelabs
- Exercise tolerance testing
- To assist in exercise and dobutamine stress echo.
- To maintain clinical record for tests performed.
- To supervise less experienced healthcare scientists, and other professional HCA working within the department
.Clinical Responsibilities
To provide technical clinical support within the cardiology department, Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and technical clinical guidelines for self and others. Reports any abnormaldiagnostic findings to senior staff members before the patient leaves the department. Take responsibility for the ECG recordings, ambulatory monitoring, and supervised exercise and tilt testing.
