Job summary

A post has arisen within the Orthotics Department for a cross-site administrator, based at Ealing Hospital with some cross-cover at Northwick Park Hospital. We are looking for a dynamic, friendly person who can work autonomously in a busy department.

The Orthotics Department is responsible for the assessment and supply of orthoses to individual patients. The service is based at Ealing and Northwick Park Hospital.

The hours of work will be 22.5 hours over 3 days (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday).

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for the Orthotics reception of patients for their appointments. In addition they will have other duties including booking new and follow up appointments, ordering orthoses, accepting orthoses from patients for repair/renewal, answering phone calls and enquires from patients and hospital colleagues and general administration tasks.
