Job summary

The post holder will play a vital role in leading on and reviewing, delivery of the Trust's health and wellbeing agenda to embed the People Plan and health and wellbeing strategy focussing on staff related work streams.

The postholder will use wellbeing metrics and associated benchmarking/improvement frameworks to analyse occupational health data, national staff survey data, compare with HSE and national data bases on sickness absence particularly for mental health and musculoskeletal related absence. The data will be used to embed evidenced based wellbeing functions within the Trust, with clear objectives which are measurable.

The postholder will work across the Trust for delivery of an inclusive workforce within the integrated care system (ICS). They will also lead management of the clinical health and wellbeing team setting clear objectives, performance information and expectations to support delivery of positive staff experience and therefore excellent patient care.

Main duties of the job

Support the implementation of engagement models for modalities to support compassionate leadership and learning in all services across the organisation.

Implement the improvement approach for the development of wellbeing within Trust roles and teams, working collaboratively with ICS colleagues.

Implement the Trust's People plan and health and wellbeing strategy to drive effective leadership and management across the Trust.

Implement evidenced based wellbeing related programmes to enable a culture of compassionate leadership and clinical excellence to improve the working lives of staff.

Work with clinical teams and leads to implement the Trust HEART values and positive wellbeing to support delivery of excellent care to patients.

Implement wellbeing models that drive positive cultures of working to advance ways of leading and managing to improve staff wellbeing engagement.

Implement wellbeing frameworks to enable the creation of an inclusive workforce and positive working practices.

Work with Northwest London Health and Integrated Care Partnership (NWL ICS) and other partners to address staff health and wellbeing issues through collaborative working to bring about sustainable positive culture change in the regional healthcare economy.

Develop a range of metrics (both qualitative and quantitative) that will drive forward a culture of continuous improvement and evidence impact.
