Job summary
London North West Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an enthusiasticConsultant in Gastroenterology with a special interest in Inflammatory Bowel Disease o join a team of based at Central Middlesex and Northwick Park Hospitals. The endoscopy unit performs approx. 5000 GI endoscopiesper year, and approx. 2000 new patients per year are seen ingastroenterology clinics.
This full time post would suit a registrar who seeks a challenge in providingexcellent Gastroenterology and IBD inpatient care, delivering anoutpatient service, and developing skills in endoscopy.
There is a requirement for a commitment to post graduate and undergraduate teaching and the appointee will be encouraged to carry out research. This is an excellent chance to work in a world renowned Centre of Excellence.

- Outpatient clinics
- Endoscopy
- Ward cover on a weekly basis
- There is also the opportunity to work additional WLI's to assist with reducing backlog and waiting times

The department has clinics at the Trust's four hospitals - St Mark's, Central Middlesex, Northwick Park and Ealing - and provides an extensive range of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services. We see both local and nationally referred patients.
