Job summary
An opportunity has arisen within our Data Quality Team for an enthusiastic data quality analyst. This post will include a full range of administrative and data analysis duties. Working alongside the Business Intelligence Analytics Team and other trust stakeholders.
The post holder will work within the operational scope of the Business Intelligence Analytics digital service department, providing a comprehensive administrative support function to the Data Quality and Informatics teams and other stakeholders. This is a key role within a busy service where an understanding of the organisation dynamics and operational functions are essential. The post holder will also be responsible for the administration of the data capture systems and aiding with data corrections and guidance.
Main duties of the job
Work closely with senior analysts with in the team to ensure reporting is accurate and corrective action for data quality issues are raised.
To support the timely provision of ad hoc information requests assigned to the senior information analyst.
To aid in the provision of management and clinical information on to support clinical, operational management and modernisation processes.
To develop a sound understanding of the operational and clinical delivery of services within the Trust.
To maintain professional relationships within the wider business intelligence function, attending regular meetings and contributing to the development of reporting mechanisms and the Trust's data warehouse.
To develop an understanding of the operational and clinical delivery of services within the trust, and the commissioning arrangements of these services, in order that accurate information is produced.
To assist in the provision of an information service to managers within the Trust, producing regular and ad hoc reports in a timely and accurate manner.
To develop a sound knowledge of Commissioning Data Sets (CDS) and NHS Data Dictionary definitions.
To produce clear and concise documentation on all processes developed.
