We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, and innovative nurses to join our wonderful multidisciplinary team of nurses, Healthcare assistants, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, discharge coordinator, primary care coordinators, Doctors, consultant geriatricians and admin staff on Dickens ward.
Dickens ward is a 34 bedded acute care of the elderly unit that is part of the emergency and ambulatory care division in London Northwest University Healthcare NHS Trust. We take direct admissions from our Emergency department, as well as transfers from acute medical wards.
We work to ensure our teams are supported with professional development pathways and that they are valued and respected as individuals. In return for your care and commitment to this specialty, with the guidance of our practice development nurse we will actively support staff education and development. We offer excellent development programmes at Band 5 level including clinical skills, online learning, and link nurse roles. For newly qualified nurses, we have a preceptorship programme to ensure that you are well supported to get your career off to the best start and to enable you to achieve your potential.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, and innovative nurses to join our wonderful multidisciplinary team of nurses, Healthcare assistants, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, discharge coordinator, primary care coordinators, Doctors, consultant geriatricians and admin staff on Dickens ward.
You will be supported by an experienced team, Clinical Nurse Manager and Matron.
