Job summary

To provide a consistently high quality, effective and efficient locum and temporary staffing service to managers and medical staff across the Trust. Be a first point of contact for bank workers and agencies. Engage in and support cross-team working, covering for colleagues as and when required. Take ownership of bookings, agency invoice reconciliation and accurate data input within a defined client area.

Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Medical Locum Booking Team within Temporary Staffing at London North West University Healthcare Trust.

The successful candidate will join the Medical Locum booking team and work within the team to provide an excellent, friendly and organised booking experience for our service users. As a Medical Locum Booking Co-ordinator you will be the first point of contact for all workers and managers. You will need to bea self-motivated individual with a willingness to learn new skills. Organisation and task management is important to the day to day working and the ability to work effectively across not only your immediate team but all our sites.

Duties will involve making bookings and cancellations, dealing with queries from internal and external contacts by phone and e-mail and providing an efficient and effective administration service. Maintain regular contact with temporary workers and wards / departments and utilising the Patchwork booking system to match availability with vacancies ensuring appropriate skill mix and competency requirements are met.
