The Theatres, Critical Care and Anaesthetic team is looking for an Admin Co-Ordinator to join our dynamic and friendly team and help us in operating smoothly. This role requires excellent leadership, time management and communication skills. You will support the Office Manager, Seniors Managers and Clinical team to ensure a safe and effective Medical and administration
Main duties of the job
Key ResponsibilitiesProvision of Admin Services, working along with the Office Manager and ITU and Anaesthetic Rota co-ordinators.First point of contact for all telephone calls and visitorsKeep all necessary records required to ensure clinical governance information is available for audit.Collect theatre sheets for patients who have gone through emergency theatre do appropriate coding and add the accurate Theatre data to Cerner system and update the system.Day to day running of theatre lists and distribution to theatres, anaesthetists and wards.Recording sickness, updating surgeon names/speciality on CLW Anaesthetic Rota. Enteringthe 1st and 2nd on call Anaesthetics on CLW Anaesthetic Rota for the whole year andupdating with the necessary changes.Requesting Patchwork shifts for locum doctors due to vacant positions or sickness for all 3 sites. Also crosschecks WLI shifts for Anaesthetics consultants and ensure appropriate shift is on Patchwork. This includes exporting appropriate reports from CLW Rota.Private patients bookings are passed on to Theatres in advance, Liaising with the Theatre manager for the appropriate staff and opening the PP theatre sessions.Checking the day to day Theatre list from Cerner and make necessary changes if there is any addition or cancellation of patients on the day for all 3 sites so that the correct theatre list is printed.
