Main duties of the job

At London North West Hospital NHS Trust we recognize the value of care and compassion in health care and have an exciting opportunity for Healthcare Assistants to join our team providing excellent care to our patients within the Integrated Medicine Division.

With the patient at the centre of all you do, we are looking for compassionate, enthusiastic and confident, experienced, Nursing Assistants, who are able under supervision, to provide the highest standard of care. You will need to be able to prioritise, work under pressure and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Being a member of staff here means treating everyone with respect. It means working together and embracing change to achieve excellence in every part of the hospital. Most of all, it means encompassing a desire to take personal responsibility for ensuring our patients get the highest quality care they deserve.   • Educated to GCSE/GCE O'Level (or equivalent, inclusive of English and Math) or demonstrate experience in a similar role

  • Working in a caring capacity with people. This may be in hospital, residential or nursing home or domiciliary setting. The work may have been paid or voluntary.
  • The basic elements of personal care. Including washing, dressing, assisting with toileting, nutritional support, moving and handling
