Job summary

The is perfect time to join Jonson ward, which is part of one of the largest Tropical Medicine department in the country, which spans across two sites Ealing Hospital and Northwick Park Hospital.

Main duties of the job

We have developed a bespoke developmental role for band 5 nurses that give you the opportunity to install confidence and trust to all patients, whilst exhibiting patience and empathy with hands-on skills.

In return you will be supported by the ward manager and Matron and by our on-sight Practice Development Nurses who will guide you through study days and some amazing in-house training to expand your clinical competencies.

Jonson ward is a Rheumatology and Infectious Diseases unit based on level 9 at Northwick park hospital. Our Rheumatology service provides care for the assessment and treatment for a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders. These are conditions that affect the bones, joints and tissues in the body such as muscles, tendons and ligament. Our Infectious Diseases service assesses and treats patients who suffer from symptoms of an infection or tropical disease.
