Staff Nurse - Site and Discharge Lounge Team EH

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse to join our busy but friendly team in the Site and Discharge Lounge Team Ealing Hospital.We are looking for someone who has an excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, adaptable, flexible, good time-keeping and who has the ability to effectively and efficiently liaise between staff within and outside the department.The successful candidate will be required to work Long days from Mondays to Sundays according to healthroster.

Main duties of the job

To assist and facilitate Patient Flow/ wards and patients in a timely discharge process.

To provide and maintain a high standard of evidence based, patient centred care.

To demonstrate good interpersonal skills and to develop practical skills required within the specialty, whist reflecting the philosophy of care.

To deliver patient care on a daily basis, using the systems in place in the department for a multi-disciplinary approach to patient-centered care delivery, which builds on the philosophy

of greater involvement of patients and their relatives/carers by using the Trusts patient and public involvement strategy.

To provide a friendly, effective reception, service to patients.

Support and assist Discharge Lounge staff in the day-to-day management and contribute to the care environment.
