Specialty Doctor in Dermatology
Applications are invited from enthusiastic and proactive candidates for the post of Specialty Doctor in Dermatology at the London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust.
The Trust is seeking full time speciality doctor but consideration would be given to part time applicants as a job share, or flexible working pattern.
The Trust comprises three hospitals, Northwick Park, Ealing and Central Middlesex covering the London Boroughs of Brent, Harrow and Ealing.
The London North West Healthcare NHS Trust continues to invest in the development of its established and well respected Dermatology Services, and now seeks to recruit a Specialty Doctor to join the dermatology team. This post offers the opportunity to help shape and develop the service which supports the population of North West London in a service underpinned by team work with a supportive culture wholly endorsed by the clinical leadership and management teams.
Main duties of the job
This is an extremely exciting time to join the existing team and to lead the on-going change process, being instrumental in the development of a tele-dermatology service being rolled out as part of a North West London Sector project. In turn the Trust will provide you with a great opportunity for leadership to shape the service of the future.
A sound knowledge of general Dermatology is required. We run the Specialist Skin Cancer MDT and you will become a core member of this group. There is dedicated theatre and minor operation capacity with on-site Plastics and Maxillio-Facial services.

The department provides many subspecialty clinics such as biologics, hair, paediatrics, patch testing and Mohs surgery. There are several dedicated nurse specialists who continue to develop nurse led services including minor procedures, simple excision surgery alongside the phototherapy service which runs on the Northwick Park and Ealing sites. Inpatients are admitted under the hospital medical teams and there is no formal out of hours on call commitment.
Applicants must have full GMC registration with a licence to practice, and prior experience in dermatology in UK including experience in skin cancers is required.
