Job summary
The post is a full-time research post, researching aspects of desmoid disease in familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP). It is suitable for registrar level clinicians in gastroenterology, colorectal surgery, oncology, or clinical genetics. The main base for the project will be in the Polyposis Registry at St Mark's Hospital. However, the project covers work across the NHSE Rare Disease Collaborative Network (RDCN) in polyposis as well as some laboratory work with an established collaboration in Oxford; therefore, some travel to other sites may be required.
Main duties of the job
This is a fully funded research post for two years with a possibility of extension for additional year, where successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on multiple research projects of desmoid disease
