Locum Consultant in Neurology (CMH)
London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust (LNWUHT) is seeking Locum Consultant Neurologist's in the first instance for 1 year FTC to support delivery of General Neurology inpatient and outpatient work at Ealing Hospital and outpatient work at Central Middlesex Hospital.
Main duties of the job
The applicant will support the current teams at Central Middlesex Hospitals and will be required to undertake general neurology outpatient clinics (seeing 6 new patients and up to 5 follow up patients per clinic) and may be required to support inpatient liaison work and supervise clinical fellows and nurse specialists.
Approximately 1500 new outpatients are currently seen each year, and there is a strong local demand for more access to a neurological opinion. Inpatients or outpatients requiring more detailed neurological management are admitted to the local tertiary centres.
