Trust Registrar in Integrated Sexual Health & HIV (ST3+)
An opportunity has arisen for one or more enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to join the friendly and innovative Integrated Sexual Health & HIV team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust.
This post will support the Integrated Sexual & Reproductive Health Services (ISRH) in the host borough and the HIV Service at the Acute Hospital Site where In-patients are under the Infectious Diseases Team (ID).
This Post : In Harrow, the Integrated Sexual & Reproductive Health Services are at the Caryl Thomas Centre in Harrow, and the HIV Service at the Department of Infection & Immunity, at Northwick Park Hospital.
Main duties of the job
The Trust Grade Doctor at ST3 level will be expected to work with department members to help provide a clinical Integrated Sexual & Reproductive Health & HIV Services in Harrow.
Also, he/she will need to:
- Share in the administration of the ISRH Departments
- Help to facilitate the Trust ISRH/HIV research and audit programme.
- Contribute to the teaching of medical students and other professionals
- Contribute to the implementation of the ISRH Department's development plans.

The service sits within the Directorate of Integrated Medicine and is closely aligned with Infectious Diseases and Acute Medicine. The Trust provides care to over 2000 people living with HIV and has a sexual health hub in each of the boroughs.

This post is for a year fixed term and has been adapted to reflect the changing sexual health needs of the local population including progressive integration with online services, the impact of COVID-19, and the rapidly evolving sexual health environment and technology. The post-holder(s) will support ongoing change and innovation within the department in partnership with the Senior Management Team. The successful candidate(s) will be motivated to innovate and develop their service whilst maintaining excellent quality of patient care.
