Job summary
Are you looking to further develop your skills in acute stroke and rehab? If so then we want you! We are a team of around 30 SLTS who are welcoming, friendly and team focused. We want to provide all of our therapists with the ability to think critically, challenge the evidence base and provide high standards of person-centred care. This involves commitment, motivation and a strong desire to learn and in turn, we will give you our commitment of CPD, the opportunity to develop your clinical skills in acquired dysphagia and communication disorders within the field of stroke, acute and ESD.
Main duties of the job
This is a permanent, full time rotational post across stroke, acute and ESD. There is the opportunity to develop skills in dysphagia management, cough reflex testing, FEES and VFS competencies , goal-setting and key working skills, complex communication management and the chance to be part of a highly skilled MDT. There is also the opportunity to spend time working in our stroke ESD team, where you can be a part of the patient journey from hospital to home and provide intensive rehabilitation.

- Recognised SLT degree
- RCSLT membership
- HCPC license to practice
- Evidence of up to date training (self-directed or structured)
