Job summary

The Clinical Directorate within East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust is pleased to be able to expand its team with a substantive Clinical Improvement Manager post. This is an exciting role for clinical colleagues who are passionate about person-centered care, driving clinical best practice, and clinical care delivery, to influence positive clinical improvements for patients within theorganisation.

The successful candidate will hold lead roles in the development and implementation of clinical improvement projects and contributing to Clinical Strategy workstreams. Engaging with both internal and external stakeholders, working closely with colleagues in the Clinical Directorate, Quality Directorate, Divisional Leadership Teams, Education team and other key roles within the Trust.

Main duties of the job

The Clinical Improvement Manager will be heavily involved inclinical development and delivery andwill ensure the delivery of key objectives across defined clinical priorities related to their work streams.

About us

TheClinical Improvement Managerwill work under theConsultant Paramedic and Deputy Director of Paramedicine and AHPs, holding development and implementation objectives and accountability for their portfolio of responsibilities.

The position is a combination of home/remote working and attendance across the Region as required for training, clinical practice and staff/stakeholder engagement.Work pattern is standard office hours, Mon-Fri, 0900-1700.

You will demonstrate the EMAS Trust values and be a positive clinical leader and role model to other clinicians within the organisation. You will also be a positive ambassador and advocate for patient care, particularly within your portfolio of responsibilities.
