An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recruitment Advisor position within the East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) Recruitment Team on a permanent basis based at our Trust's HQ at Horizon Place, Nottingham.
The Recruitment Team are part of the People Directorate, where different specialists come together as one team to improve the experience of working in the NHS for everyone.
As a Recruitment Advisor your role will be key in shaping and creating a positive impact throughout the recruitment journey for our candidates and leaders at EMAS, reinforcing our reputation as an Employer of Choice, also ensuring our practices are consistent and representative of the communities we serve.
You will have an opportunity to be an ambassador for the ambulance service representing our Trust across the region at careers events, workshops, and forums.
Patient care is at the forefront of everything we do, therefore the expert knowledge, skills and experience you bring to the role will be essential to reinforce our safe, effective and collaborative working practices. Through establishing a solid foundation of working relationships throughout EMAS you will ensure we are employing the right person for the right role at the right time so our patients can receive the best possible care.
Main duties of the job
About you
You will be a proactive and a conscientious team player with excellent communication and customer service skills to ensure that we attract a wide range of candidates from all of our communities making sure that they have an excellent applicant experience.
It is essential that you have previous recruitment experience, particularly managing high volume recruitment campaigns. You will also be comfortable using and navigating different systems and proficient in using recruitment management systems (i.e. Trac or comparable applicant tracking systems), Microsoft Office 365 is essential, and experience of using ESR would be desirable.
Due to the nature of this role, internal and external customer service skills are a must, and all of our team members are expected to work together, showing compassion and inclusivity, and adhere to and display our Trust values at all times.
