Job summary
We are delighted to be recruiting to our Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service covering numerous locations across Northamptonshire.

On successful completion of the training, proposed start date of which will be the 9th January 2023, you will be required to provide high quality patient care and transportation to and from designated destinations as directed, maintain high standards of service delivery and ensure the safety and well-being of patients at all times. It is essential that you hold a full current manual driving license (including Categories A & E - old style license or Categories B new style license). Minor offences may be considered
With excellent communications skills, you must have 2 GCSE's in one in English minimum Grade D or above, or an equivalent qualification in numeracy and literacy (level 1). Evidence of a caring approach in a work or personal environment is essential.
Main duties of the job
To provide high quality patient care and transportation to and from designated destinations as directed, maintaining high standards of service delivery and ensuring the safety and well-being of patients at all times.
Deliver excellent customer service and care to all healthcare professionals whilst carrying out duties.
The post-holder will provide a service to non-emergency patients that may include assisting patients to walk, carrying patients and administering first-aid.
