Job summary

The role of Human Resources (HR) is to enable the Trust to achieve its strategic aims and service objectives by promoting the most effective utilisation of staff, supporting EMAS in implementing organisational change, providing challenge and effective advice in employee relations and all other associated employee related challenges.

As the Human Resources Advisor you will be required to be actively engaged to help provide support for our EOC, and understand how this fits into the corporate strategy to meet key performance indicators. HR is responsible for delivering a proactive, responsive service which meets the needs and exceeds the expectations of staff and managers.

As part of a passionate HR Team at EMAS you will be at the forefront of providing a comprehensive and professional human resources service to the managers and employees of the Trust; therefore, an ability to build good working relationships is pivotal. You will be driven and passionate and want to be part of a dynamic HR team. Through excellent communication, coaching and influencing skills the successful candidate will support and advise management on a variety of HR issues at an operational level ensuring that decision making is consistent with current employment legislation and good employment practice. The suitable candidate will have a proven track record of operating in an operational HR environment.
