Main duties of the job
The main duties of the post-holder will be to work with the Maudsley Learning team to:

Provide strategic clinical leadership, management and oversight for all SBE and experiential leaning activity. Including the successful design, development and delivery of a range education and training courses and programmes including simulation-based education (SBE) courses.

Lead the faculty and simulation team to provide clinical and educational subject matter expertise input to support ML's commercial activity. Working closely with the Director of Operations and Maudsley Enterprise business support teams to develop sales commercial marketing content, sales proposals and bid tender applications.

The post-holder will lead our internal faculty in the development and delivery of a variety of mental health focussed, medical, clinical, and multidisciplinary training courses using simulation-based-education (SBE) and experiential learning technologies, including VR360. The post-holder will also ensure strategic alignment of our SBE programme with local and national objectives, including quality assurance oversight of all delivered training.
The post-holder will report to the Director of Operations, working with a multi-disciplinary education team, including medical education fellows, nurse tutors, subject matter experts (SMEs), SBE technicians, technology enhanced learning (TEL) media producers, researchers, mental health actors, and business support teams. The post holder will work with the team to enable our full schedule of commercially commissioned SBE and mental health education programmes to be delivered.
The post holder will be highly organised and able to support the smooth delivery of our SBE training courses while delivering work to the high standards of our award-winning team.
