Main duties of the job

o To lead on all Work Well projects including IPS expansion plan under supervision of the Trust IPS & Employment Support Lead

o To support the Trust IPS and Employment Support Lead on specific tasks and responsibilities where required.

Job description

Job responsibilities

Carrying out regular service evaluations, analysing data and presenting reports for senior managers, staff, partner organisations and service users.

Taking lead on all IPS and employment support projects in the service, including the IPS expansion plan, under supervision and guidance of The Trust IPS and Employment Support Lead.

Liaising with Communications and Engagement Officer on a regular basis as directed by the Trust IPS and Employment Support Lead to ensure coherent and consistent communication with the rest of the Trust and external organisations.

Supporting with recruitment and selection process for any vacancies within the service as required, and supporting with the retention, training and career development of staff.

Ensuring that all staff receive adequate training and support to carry out their roles effectively; identifying training needs and addressing any gaps in skill development. Carrying out personal development reviews with staff and ensuring that all staff have an effective personal development plan in place.

Developing and maintaining strong working partnerships with IPS and employment support team managers and departments within the Trust, and with external organisations such as Jobcentre Plus, GP practices, employment services, training providers, and community organisations.

Motivating and supporting the teams to achieve high levels of performance against targets.

Ensuring that all service data is collected, stored and audited effectively, in line with relevant policies. Carrying out regular quality checks to ensure that all staff are adhering to data management protocols.

Using initiative to set up effective systems to ensure the service is managed efficiently and high standards of service provision are met.

Keeping up to date with all organisational policies (e.g. HR, health and safety, IT, finance, etc), and ensuring that all staff understand and follow relevant policies throughout their day-to-day work.

To support the Trust IPS and Employment Support Lead with the Work Well Culture Change Project (alongside Maudsley Learning) and other upcoming projects.

To be responsible for monitoring the performance of the Recovery College Workshops project.

Project manage the Employ Well Project linking the Trust into external networks of employers and supporting the aim to increase job outcomes and sustainments for SLaM patients.

Support the IPS and Employment Support team leaders as needed on an ad hoc basis.
