Job summary

We are seeking a creative and committed Assistant Psychologist to work in Southwark CAMHS. Applicants must have a first degree in psychology with eligibility for British Psychological Society Graduate Basis for Chartership, 2:1 or above. Applicants will ideally have prior clinical and research experience, including data and statistical analysis. The post-holders will gain a wide variety of experience and be supervised by a Clinical Psychologist and so these posts are highly suitable for candidates who aspire to future training in clinical psychology.

You will be one of five Assistant Psychologists in the service and work across several teams. Clinical work may include individual screening appointments for neurodevelopmental difficulties, co-facilitating therapeutic groups and joint assessment and therapeutic clinical work. There will also be opportunities to contribute to service user involvement groups. Audit and contribution to service development will also be crucial aspects of the work.
