This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Principal Quality Improvement Lead within the Quality Improvement and Slam Partners team at South London & Maudsley NHS Hospital. This is an in-person role with travel required across sites
The Quality Improvement and Slam Partners team is part of the Quality centre within the Trust. The team plays a key role in enabling the Trust to use adopted improvement methodology within the context of Our Care Improvement System to deliver the Trusts strategic ambitions set out in Changing Lives Aiming High strategy. The work of the teamis underpinned by improvement and organisational science, theories and principles and evidence-based practice, to enable services, teams and individuals to work at their best to deliver safe and effective care and outcomes that matter to patients, families and carers.
The post holder will work as a senior member of the team and support the delivery of the workplan and ensure all work contributes to a culture of continuous improvement .
Main duties of the job
The Principal Quality Improvement Lead will possess a deep understanding about the theory and application of improvement methodology across a system. The post holder will work as part of the leadership team managing a team of Quality Improvement (QI) leads who have a crucial role in enabling the Trust to progress the implementation of Our Care Improvement System. The post holder will also have a key QI lead role in enabling the Trust to improve care and outcomes in adult mental health
