Job summary
We are looking for an experienced administrator to join the AHM Hearing Administration Team based in 111 Denmark Hill on the MaudsleyHospital site.
The post holder will provide excellent customer service to service users, relatives, internal and external colleagues in including solicitors, haveexcellent organisational and interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes including, Teams,Outlook Word and Excel.
Main duties of the job
To organise renewal and appeal hearings for patients by the Associate Hospital Managers
To provide administrative support to the MCA/AHM Team Leader and the Associate Hospital Managers at hearings and to process their claim monthly claim forms.
To provide weekly reminder table to the clincal teams regarding report required for hearings.
To meet and maintain Trust standards for the MHA/AHM Offices

1) Provide administration support to the MHA Management Team including support to the AHMs in management of their claims, bookings and training records.2) To arrange and co-ordinate Associate Hospital Managers hearings/reviews.3) To ensure records are maintained in an orderly manner including use of the MHA tab on the electronic record system (ePJS)4) To arrange meetings as required including preparation of meeting documents, booking rooms, circulation of agenda and papers.5) To copy or audio type minutes of meetings6) To liaise with patients, carers, staff and Associate Hospital Managers in relation to the operation of the Act as appropriate7) Maintain the Mental Health Act database and related registers8) To answer telephone9) To deal with enquires10) To Manage workload to ensure completion of work11) To provide cover at Trust MHA Offices when required12) To scrutinise section papers and arrange amendments in line with the Act under supervisionCommunications and Working Relationships: Internal Members of the multi-professional teams Other health care professionals linked to service provision Line management Secretarial staff Medical records Clinical director External Service users Relatives, advocates, carers and visitors General Practitioners Solicitors Statutory and voluntary services Local social services Associate Hospital Managers Care Quality Commission Mental Health Tribunal Home Office Department of Health Other service providers
