Job summary
Lewisham CAMHS are seeking to recruit a Clinical Psychologist to join the Neurodevelopmental Team located at the Kaleidoscope Centre.
The post predominantly involves providing assessments (including cognitive assessments), consultation and evidence based interventions with children and families, where the child has a diagnosis of ASD and/or LD and a mental health disorder or challenging behaviours. The post holder will work very closely with other disciplines in the comprehensive assessment and delivery of evidence based therapy programs; assist in team audits and service development projects.
Main duties of the job
The successful post holder will predominantly work with children aged 0-18 years. The Neurodevelopmental Team is a vibrant, supportive and innovative multidisciplinary team that works alongside other specialist and generic CAMHS teams in Lewisham and has links with the other NDTs in SLAM.
The successful candidate will have a doctorate (or recognized equivalent qualification) in Clinical Psychology and be eligible for registration with the HCPC. The successful candidate will be asked to apply for an Enhanced Disclosure.
