Job summary
We are looking for a registered professional with significant clinical and operational experience to provide senior management the Central Locality team (CMHT) and the Croydon Early Intervention team (COAST). This is an exciting opportunity for colleagues currently in a band 7 or 8a clinical or management operational role with strong leadership, clinical and operational skills.
The successful candidate will have service management responsibility for the operational running of one of the core community mental health teams and the Early Intervention team within the Croydon Adult community services. There is a degree of service development and partnership working within this role which may appeal to clinicians with special interest in the community mental health transformation plan and NHS long term plan.

Main duties of the job
Following the community redesign earlier thisyear, wehave moved away from a diagnostic based model of service delivery to a locality-based care. People are being seen by their locality area team irrespective of their diagnosis. We have changed our skill mix to ensure we have a wider range of interventions available for service users, that we are thinking creatively about recruitment and that we have career development opportunities in the community for staff.

About the role:
In this role, you will take service management responsibility for the operational running of one of the three locality services and one other core service. You will provide exemplary leadership to staff, ensuring national and local targets are achieved and exceeded whilst the services meet the diverse needs of the population that we serve.
