We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated applicant into this Clinical Service Lead (Team Manager post). Successful applicant will lead the team with support from other senior team members.
As a Team Leader, you will be part of Lewisham CAMHS Senior Leadership Team at a time of expansion and development. You will also have the opportunity to retain clinical role within the team.
Lewisham Horizon team provides an assessment and treatment service for children and young people in Lewisham who require getting more help due to more severe, complex and persistent disorders. In addition, the service has a strong commitment to supporting research.
The team is currently going through an exciting period of development and progression within the wider service with focus being on assessment, treatment and timely throughput. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to be involved in this service development and improvement.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be responsible for the daily operational management.
They will ensure that service access and delivery is efficient, effective, evidence based, needs led, as well as service user and carer focused.
The post holder will provide clear leadership, in partnership with the Service Manager to ensure access to timely treatment and intervention by well led and motivated staff that contributes to promoting safety and achievement for all children and young people.

- To demonstrate clinical competence and role model effective clinical care delivery.

- To ensure (in conjunction with the Service Manager, Heads of Professions and Lead Clinicians) that practice within the team meets relevant standards, is appropriate, timely, safe and follows agreed professional practice.
