Job Overview:We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic part time Psychodynamic Psychotherapist to join the Croydon Integrated Psychological Therapies Service: a well-established and respected integrated psychological therapy service in adult secondary care. The team comprises Psychodynamic Psychotherapists, CAT Psychotherapists, Clinical and Counselling Psychologists. The team delivers assessment, treatment, and works closely with colleagues in the CMHTs. The post holder will hold line management and supervisory responsibilities and will link in with a specific CMHT.
Only applicants with UKCP or British Psychoanalytical Council (BPC) registration in individual psychodynamic psychotherapy should apply. Proposed Interview Date: is Wednesday 15th of June 2022.

Main duties of the job
To provide assessments and treatment to a caseload of services users with complex presentations. To provide clinical expertise, consultation and liaison work with the Community Mental Health Team(s). Skill and experience in assessing and treating service users from diverse backgrounds within a psychodynamic framework in adult secondary care is essential. Interest and capacity for close team working, as well as the ability to work autonomously are key.

About Us:Croydon Integrated Psychological Therapies Service (CIPTS) is based at a Community hospital site alongside other adult mental health teams in the heart of Croydon, enabling close cross-team working for the benefit of service users. The team has a green and welcoming open plan office space, with supervision rooms and modern therapy rooms. Virtual direct work is delivered across all modalities, however much of the direct work is provided face to face due to clinical/risk presentations. Different therapeutic modalities work closely together, with good administrative support. There is a strong culture of supporting and valuing each other in the work that we do.
About our locations: CIPTS is based at 2nd Floor, Jeanette Wallace House, 1 Edridge Road, Croydon, CR0 1FE. Close to bus and train links. Hospital parking is unavailable (except to disabled badge holders) however there are local car parks. We run clinics at other sites including The Bethlem Royal Hospital where the postholder may be expected to offer sessions (parking available).
