MSK Outpatient Paediatric Physiotherapist

This is a fixed term post for 6 months providing specialist MSK Outpatient physiotherapy to children and young people (CYP) in outpatient clinic settings. The post holder will be an autonomous practitioner providing a specialist physiotherapy service to a designated caseload of children with a range of musculoskeletal issues and/or physical and mobility difficulties.

A significant proportion of these children will have English as an additional language (EAL). He/she will be expected to manage their own caseload across a number of clinic sites. He/she will be expected to work collaboratively with CYP, parents/carers and colleagues in Health, Education and Social Services in planning and delivery of services.

Main duties of the job

* Providing specialist MSK Outpatient Physiotherapy services children and young people with a variety of MSK conditions within Harrow

* Providing specialist advice, programmes and treatment plans to others regarding the management and care of CYP with MSK conditions

* The post-holder may be expected to provide supervision of the work of band 5 physiotherapists and students.
