Job summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated qualified or newly qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs) to join our team at Milton Keynes NHS Talking Therapies, formerly known as the IAPT service. Our service is well-established and located in the diverse new city of Milton Keynes.
Main duties of the job
We are passionate about wellbeing and dedicated to supporting both our clients and our staff. As a PWP, you will work within a stepped care model, providing assessments and evidence-based low-intensity interventions for individuals experiencing common mental health issues.
These assessments and interventions may be conducted in person, online using a digital platform, or via telephone. Our service offers hybrid and flexible working options, allowing you to split your time between working from home and at our service base at the Stantonbury Health Centre. We also offer flexible working hours, along with regular supervision, appraisals, and opportunities for professional development.

- Qualification from PWP Training Course (Post Graduate Certificate or Level 3 undergraduate course) OR equivalent ,e.g. Experienced and Qualified Graduate Mental Health Worker with relevant Primary Care experiences and competences as required.

- Ability to meet agreed/specified service targets
- Ability to manage own caseload and time
- Demonstrates high standards in written communication
- Able to write clear reports and letters to referrers
